Printed Fabric Transfer Using Digital Stamps

Good Wednesday to everyone, this is Sara;)
I am here with a tutorial for you on one more way to use  your digital stamps,
Printed Fabric Transfer.

Supplies you will need:
Digital Stamp
Today I am using
Computer/Printer
Fabric Transfer Printer Paper,
I used the product below from Avery
Iron and Ironing board
2 yards of ribbon trim
Fabric Glue
Scissors

Step One:  Open your digital stamp into your graphic program I use PSE10, make all the changes you desire.  For mine I used a red color stylizer.  In just a few seconds I had transformed the background image.

Step Two:  Print your image onto the transfer printer paper (per product directions).
I chose custom print size and ticked the box Scale to fit Media.  *The original size of the background stamp is 5.94" by 7.29".
You can see below the prompt box the open white space for the printed background.

Now for the last screen before printing, you can see the digital stamp fills the entire
8 1/2" by 11" of paper and there is no more white space.

Step Three:  Cut your paper transfer to the size and dimensions you need for your project.
I used 3 3" wide strips 8 1/2" long.  I also had to cut two smaller pieces to fill in the end side of the pattern.  It took a full sheet of 8 1/2" by 11" transfer paper to complete my design.

Step Four:  Wash and Iron flat the flour sack towel.

Step Five:  Iron your your transfer pieces (per product directions).
You can see below how I used the hem of the towel for positioning my iron on transfer.
I did this step three times until I had the 3" trim transfer I desired.

Step 6:  Take your fabric trim and fabric glue and apply to the upper and lower borders of the transferred image and let it dry overnight.  You can if you wish tack it in a few places with some stitching if you so desire.

Here is a photo of my finished towel hanging...

This was so much fun to do, I hope you give this tutorial a try.

You light up my life

Hi all!
Kristie from Kristie Kreates, here today.
Christmas is so close and I'm still not done with my cards.
Almost, but not quite.
Here is another one that I made the other evening.
I used "Skunk and Lights" (#10901) and
"You Light" (#10903)
With these images all that needs coloring is the string of lights.
I used FlexMarkers.
Easy peasy.
Thanks for stopping by today.
If you haven't finished your cards yet and don't have the image you want, pop into the Eureka! Stamps Store and pick out something.
I used rubber stamps for my images, but they are also available in digital format. Digital makes it easy to resize and print as many as you need quickly.
Until next time, Happy Crafting!

Snowman gift tag

Hello blog fans!
Kristie here today!
I hope you had a wonderful Thanksgiving and didn't eat too much.
Now that Thanksgiving is passed it's really time to gear up for Christmas.
I decided to make a couple gift tags to show you.
I used
"Snowman To and From" (#23705)
This first one was stamped onto white card stock
and colored with FlexMarkers.
The sky is inked with a blending tool
and Distress Ink (Broken China)
This one was stamped onto a white tag
and colored with FlexMarkers.
They didn't take much time to make at all
and I think these little guys are adorable.

Why not pop over to the

Pumpkin Background and Mica Powder

It's that season!
Time for pumpkins, turkey, mashed potatoes and giving thanks!
It's Kristie here from Kristie Kreates.
This weeks Eureka! Stamps challenge theme is 'give thanks'
so I thought I would go along with that theme for this card.
I used
"Pumpkin Background" (#26601)
I stamped Pumpkin Background onto kraft card stock with VersaMark ink.
Then I brushed on some gold Mica Powder.
Eureka! Stamps carries several color sets of Mica Powder,
just click on the "Metallic/Mica Powders" link on the left sidebar of the home page at the Eureka! Stamps Store
to see what they have to offer.
Here is a close up that shows the gold shimmer of the Mica Powder.
Next I stamped the Pumpkin Background
image again and colored just parts of it with FlexMarkers
and fussy cut them.
I adhered those pieces to the background with foam tape.
The sentiment is rub ons and also popped up with some foam tape.
Thanks for stopping by today.
Leave a comment if you will.
I hope you have been inspired in someway.
Why not check out the wonderful images at
as well as all the other wonderful products they carry,
like the Mica Powder I used on my card?

Circus Train...

Hello,

Katie here today.

I would like to share a card with you made from several Digi Stamps from Eureka Stamps.  I had such fun with these stamps and they have so many possibilities.

The card is 6" x 12" as it needed to be big enough to fit the whole train onto it!  I have coloured the images using Promarkers and then cut around each image.  To join the carriages together I have used a ribbon punch on Black Cardstock to look like a chain.  The balloons are cut from an old Quickutz die that I have as is the grass.

Here is a list of the stamps I have used:

Remember when sizing these Digi Stamps that the animals need to fit in the Train Car, so make them smaller than the engine and the carriage!

You Are Special

I absolutely love dinosaurs!!  I think they're cute in any color ~ whether they're blowing fire or, in this case, standing on their front feet, holding birthday candles on their back feet.  LOL

I just flipped out when I saw this cute guy!  This digital image is called  "Birthday Dinosaur, Lg" and can be found in the Eureka store here.

I used several shades of green, darker along the edges, even darker on his toes and the darkest on his spots and spines.  Don't you just love the goofy smile on his face and his cute party hat?  I colored everything with my Spectrum Noir markers and then used glitter glue and glitter on the icing on the candles and the fire.  I'll be sending this card to a little boy and still had some of this old (but some of my favorites) Basic Grey boy birthday paper in my scrapbox and the dinosaur was perfect with it!  The orange and white gingham bow was just the perfect and final touch to my card.

This adorable sentiment is also available in the store and you can find it right here.  I just love the font on this sentiment!  You can find some awesome sentiments listed under digi stamps: digi greetings.

Thanks for stopping by and sharing a little bit of your Saturday with me and have a wonderful weekend!

Happy Birthday Kitty

Hello and happy Tuesday to you.  Cheryl here and today I have a birthday card to share with you and it has the cutest image on it.   It's called "Cat With Balloons" and you can find it in the Eureka Stamps store here.  Isn't this adorable and such a fun little birthday image?  I love it because this card would be appropriate for just about any age child or anybody who loves cats (and I know a few of them.)

I colored the image with my Spectrum Noir markers and used little x's and circles to make the cat's body look like fur. After I colored the image, I cut it out and inked the edges with red ink.  The big bow was glued on at an angle to give my card a "jaunty look".   I think this cupcake patterned paper is the perfect backdrop for this "Cat With Balloons".

Here's another view of my card.  I was trying to show how I tried to use the markers to look like "fur".

Thanks for stopping by today and I hope you have a wonderful week!

Package Tower

Merry Christmas?!?!?!
Yes!
It's Kristie and I'm at it again, making Christmas cards.
Today's card is made with
"Package Tower" (#23301) from Eureka! Stamps
I colored this image with FlexMarkers.
I also used a bit of Stickles and Glossy Accents to give some shine, shimmer and sparkle.
The bow is made with some wonderful satin ribbon from May Arts.
I think it adds just the right touch and "wraps up" this card perfectly.

Make New Friends

"Make new friends, but keep the old. One is silver and the other's gold"
Do you remember that song?
I remember singing it in rounds when I was a girl scout.
That's what this image,
"Lg Best Friends Sitting (#5906) from Eureka! Stamps,
reminds me of.
The kids in my area just went back to school about a week ago
and this makes me think of when I was young
and when my kids were young.
Each year we'd wonder about our old friends,
what they did over the summer,
if they were going to be in our classes etc.
As well as if we'd be meeting new friends,
who they would be,
were they new kids to the school
or just to the class?
Some wonderful memories!
So enough reminiscing, about the card.....
I used Distrress inks to make the background of sky and grass.
Then I stamped the image onto that background and also onto a piece of white card stock.
I used a bronze Creative Memories pen to color the bench
and colored the 'friends' with FlexMarkers, then fussy cut them.
I adhered the 'friends' right over the stamped image on the background.
I used a Martha Stewart all around the page punch set for the border.

Thanks for stopping by today, leave a comment if you will and be sure to come and visit again soon, our design team have been creating up a storm and have lots to show you.

I'd love to have you stop by my blog
and see what other projects I have to show you.
Happy Stamping!

Little Mermaid...

Good Morning All...

It is Katie here today with my latest post for Eureka Stamps.

I couldn't resist this cute mermaid image on the Eureka Stamps website, she is so pretty adults and children would love to receive her!

As you can see I have embellished the card using real shells that we collected from the beach and stuck on using silicone.  I think this gives the card a rustic look.

The Mermaid image can be found here.

I coloured the image using Promarkers: Almond, Dusky Pink. Caramel, Sandstone, Denim Blue, Pastel Pink.

Thinking of You, Sis

Welcome to the Eureka Blog!   Cheryl here to show you one of my favorite Eureka Stamps digital images.  I love this image so much that I've made a brand new card using it again.

This adorable image can be found in the digital section under the "friends" category.  It's called "Best Friends"   and this is the second card that I've created using this stamp.  The first time I used the image was for my very first DT project and I colored the little girls' dresses pink and blue and did a very feminine pink card.  For this card, I used black polka dotted patterned paper and colored their dresses in earth tones, using my Spectrum Noir markers.  I added two little matching tan bows.  Here's a close-up photograph:

Here's one more close-up:

I absolutely love working with these digital images!   It was fun to do a completely different "take" on this image.

Thanks for stopping by today and "Happy Scrapping!"
