Gemma Pocock DT Post

Good Morning everyone, well its QKR time today, so here is a christmas card I made for the inlaws. I used the digi image of santa on skis www.eurekastamps.com/proddetail.php?prod=digi6607&cat=124 coloured in with my pro markers, added to some co ordinating papers and matt and layered, sentiment added and finished off with card candi.

Thanks for taking the time to look at my DT card, I would love you to come and take a look at my blog http://gemshandmadecards.blogspot.co.uk/
Merry Christmas

Happy New Year Card

Hello crafters!

I created a New Year's card for you today, using a sentiment as the focal point.  You can find this sentiment in the Eureka store right here.

Isn't this large sentiment wonderful and just perfect for a New Year's card?  I used Echo Park Very Merry Christmas papers and added some Christmas green flowers to my card.  I jazzed the flowers up a little with a rhinestone in the center of each one.  The flower in the upper right hand corner is attached with a pop dot.  Here's a close-up photograph of the lovely sentiment.

Just for some added interest, I staggered the rows of flowers (at the bottom) and used pop dots on some of them.

I love using sentiments as the focal point and there are many of them, for any occasion, in the Eureka store.

Thanks for stopping by today!

You light up my life

Hi all!
Kristie from Kristie Kreates, here today.
Christmas is so close and I'm still not done with my cards.
Almost, but not quite.
Here is another one that I made the other evening.
I used "Skunk and Lights" (#10901) and
"You Light" (#10903)
With these images all that needs coloring is the string of lights.
I used FlexMarkers.
Easy peasy.
Thanks for stopping by today.
If you haven't finished your cards yet and don't have the image you want, pop into the Eureka! Stamps Store and pick out something.
I used rubber stamps for my images, but they are also available in digital format. Digital makes it easy to resize and print as many as you need quickly.
Until next time, Happy Crafting!

Our Guest Designer this week is CG!!!
CG will be joining us from the month of December
and showcasing her wonderful card.  Here is a little more about CG.
I'm a crafter living in Baltimore, Maryland with my husband of nine years, a green Iguana named Percy, two unusually-large mini Schnauzers named Walt and Allen, (Allen's with me in the photo).  I have a background in poetry, website maintenance, and publication design, but these days I mostly make cards!  I'm currently visiting my parents in Arizona and I am spending lots of time crafting with my Mom, who got me into cardmaking.

I'm very lucky to have found the online creative community and I just love visiting blogs by crafters around the world.  I've recently gotten into cross-stitch and enjoy how relaxing that is.  Many thanks to Eureka Stamps for asking  me to join them this month as their Guest Designer!

Three Kings

This is Sarosa posting today. I hope everyone is enjoying the season, and not getting stressed out with everything on their schedules!  I had a different card in mind, and planned to post this one (which I made this summer) for the next challenge, however, I saw that Cheryl had used the same image in a wonderful way earlier HERE, and I though my posting this now might be extra inspiration for this image!

The obvious thing to do with this image is to color it, and I really wanted to ... still want to! But, I didn't! I decided to find a different way to show case the Three Kings. I wish I had a camera that could pick up the beautiful velvety cardstock I used for the background on the top card and everything on the bottom; the elegance it added is perfect. I also don't know if you can really see that the top card is somewhat 3D; each king is a separate, solid layer of cardstock. The star comes from the Bethelehem with verse image. I stamped it on light gold cardstock and embossed.

Quick & Easy Christmas Card

Hi! Happy Wednesday!

Tina From Crafty and Green here with you today!! I can't believe the holidays are upon us already! Time Flies when we're having fun, huh? So, I decided to showcase an easy & quick Christmas Card that you can make on the go!

Many of you know that I Craft with scraps, what people give me and what I have laying around. If I go shopping for craft supplies, it's normally at the thrift store! So with that being said; for this card, I found my Christmas/Winter Scraps. The Card base I found laying around was actually an empty Halloween Card with webbing on the front, but knew that I could cover that up with my scraps :) Grabbed some White Ribbon from my Stash and a few little dew drop doo dads. Then all I needed was a Sentiment!! The sentiment I chose for this quick & easy Christmas card is: digi11202(509) May the Gifts

I hope you get the chance to try a super easy & quick Christmas/Holiday Card yourself! Please feel free to stop by my blog sometime to see other creations made with Scraps & thrifty finds!!

I pray you have a Wonderfully Blessed Holiday Season!

Until Next Time My Friends,
 $$Craft Green, To Save Green$$

Many Blessings,
Tina
