Hi everyone!
Tory here again! I think butterflies are the perfect image to use on birthday cards when you don't want to use something stereotypically birthday... and of course Eureka has the cutest butterfly for us to use!
I decided here it would be a great pair with this cute Momenta birthday words paper - a simple image with some pretty loud paper. I cut out the butterfly in the rounded square shape and then used distress ink to tint the white to orange (color is spiced marmalade) and then the black soot just to add a little definition to both the patterned paper and the stamped square. Then I added some rick rack. I am truly addicted to that stuff, and I am almost out of it!
Thanks for visiting and get working on those birthday cards!

Starfish
Happy Friday,
Today is my day to post on the Eureka stamps design team blog. I thought I'd show my card using the 2 of their digi images, I combined digi23101 Starfish Legend and digi23001 Sea Star Ornament to create this card.
For this card, I used a base of SU bashfull blue and also some unknown shell designer paper. I then cut out the two star fish ornaments and used a small brad to put them on the paper. I sponged around with some SU creamy caramel and finished it off with some twine.
I love how this card came together!

The Selflessness Project
Last week I came across this story
and decided to make a card to send out to Matthew for his project.
Here is the card I made at My Happy Place.
I used some distress inks for the background and FlexMarkers to color the
"Flying Girl Holder" (#21701)
"Oval Balloon" (#5201)
and "Heart Balloon" (#5204)
which are all images from Eureka! Stamps
The grass is stamped with
"Field Grass Right" (#38925)
The girl and balloons were fussy cut and adhered to the card with foam tape.
I hope you'll read the story about this little boy and maybe make a card or two to send off to him for his project.
On their facebook page his Mom says they have already surpassed his goal and it is bigger than they ever imagined and I'm sure it's going to keep on growing!
Check out Eureka! Stamps and Biblical Impressions
and see what you would like to use to make some cards.
Thanks for stopping by today, leave a comment if you will and
come again soon!
And please stop by my personal blog
and see what else I'm up to!

Under the Weather?
Are you "Under the Weather?"
This duck sure seems to be yet I love this digi anyway.
Be sure to check out the website when you are done here for affordable digi and rubber stamps of all types and kinds.
There is something on there that is sure to suit your taste.
Digi - Rainy Day Duck , Rubber - Rainy Day Duck
Copics
Stickles
Bazzill
You can always buy the sentiment from there that says, "under the weather" even though what you see on the card isn't the one in the store, it is handwritten.
And keep checking back because soon there will be a challenge posted on the blog. :)

Masculine Scripture card
I have been taking classes online at Regent University for a couple of years, and I wanted to make a card for my favorite professor. I chose the 2 Corinthians 5:17 stamp because I had to write a ten page paper on this verse for him; I'm so glad Eureka carries it! The card was far less time consuming to do than the paper, lol! Along with the alphabet set, in which letters are also available to be purchased individually, Eureka has a number of cubes that can be used for the background. The one I used for this card happens to come from the Winter set of four; I wanted a masculine card, and the pine branch seemed a good fit.
