I used photoshop to color my images, printed them out on stampers select white
cardstock and die cut them with nestabilities.
A few strokes with a sponge and TH distress ink helped give the printed images a more
vintage feel.
The deliciously yummy vintage paper is from,

Season's Greetings Tag

Hello and welcome to the Eureka Stamps Blog.  Today, I have another Christmas tag to share with you.  Let me show you my tag and then I'll fill you in on all of the details.

This digital stamp is called Three Kings and can be found in the Eureka Stamps store right here.  The sentiment is so pretty ~ I just love the script ~ and it can be found right here.

I colored the Three Kings with my Spectrum Noir markers then fussy cut them out.  I attached them to my embossed tag with pop dots.  The sentiment is also attached with pop dots.  Here is a close-up of the images:

As you can see, I used red ink on the edges of the sentiment just to give it a little definition.  Here's one more close-up of these images:

I made this tag a little smaller (2 1/2" x 5") and made the base of the tag out of heavier kraft cardstock.  The white cardstock was run through my embossing machine, then attached to the tag.  I punched a hole through both layers and put a piece of red and white bakers twine through the hole.  I finished my tag off with a red and green striped bow.

My tag is all ready to hang on a Christmas present or on the tree.

THIS WEEK'S CHALLENGE IS:

Let the Holiday Fun Begin!

We are excited to have Crystal Roefs Lockhart as our Guest Designer

I am a mother to a 5 month old little girl, who is my pride and joy, and a little Yorkie-poo, Roxie who I refer to as my fur baby. I hope to pass on my love of crafting to my little one as my mother did to me. I learned how to craft before I could walk, spending endless quality time with my mom being creative. The Fine Arts are in my blood. I have delved into theatre set design and construction, jewelry and accessory design, cross stitch, and now paper crafting. I have never been very computer savvy so using digital images was not something I could ever see myself using. However, a friend of mine introduced them to me and I have fallen in love. If I can figure out how to use them, anyone can.

Crystal is showcasing Digi # 16403 Caroling Bunnies   & Sentiment #17706 Fa La La

Gemma Pocock DT Post

Morning again everyone, well I have been up to my eyes in christmas cards so thought I would have a little break and went for a birthday card for a little boy. I used the image of the caterpillar https://www.facebook.com/facebook#!/pages/Gems-Handmade-Cards/163273910356037, coloured with pro markers, added some matt and layered card, then added a sentiment and some card candi.

If you like my card take a look at my blog http://gemshandmadecards.blogspot.co.uk/ and I also have a facebook page https://www.facebook.com/facebook#!/pages/Gems-Handmade-Cards/163273910356037

Snowman gift tag

Hello blog fans!
Kristie here today!
I hope you had a wonderful Thanksgiving and didn't eat too much.
Now that Thanksgiving is passed it's really time to gear up for Christmas.
I decided to make a couple gift tags to show you.
I used
"Snowman To and From" (#23705)
This first one was stamped onto white card stock
and colored with FlexMarkers.
The sky is inked with a blending tool
and Distress Ink (Broken China)
This one was stamped onto a white tag
and colored with FlexMarkers.
They didn't take much time to make at all
and I think these little guys are adorable.

Why not pop over to the
and see what images you might want
to use to make some gift tags?
I used a rubber stamp,
but they are also available in digital format.
Thanks for stopping by today.
I hope you've been inspired in some way, come again soon!
I'd love to have you stop by my blog,
and see what else I've been up to.
Stop by and see me soon.

Good news of Great Joy!

Sarosa posting today.  I love, love, love Christmas Season! I love the celebration of Jesus' birth, and I have the most wonderful memories of Christmas from childhood. Our house looked, smelled, tasted, and sounded like Christmas!

Anyway, this is a single image, Bethlehem With Verse. I embossed the image with silver. Then I traced over the star with a versamark pen, and re-embossed it with gold.

Note: I was using a rather dry versamark pad, so I did not get great coverage on the bottoms of these cards (I think I was a bit hurried, and didn't press firmly enough). For this top one, I just added more ink and more embossing powder.    Funny, my heat gun kept putting air bubbles, dozens and dozens. I finally figured out how to position the cardstock best, but you can see I still had a couple!  I also filled in the spots where the script is not right, but unfortunately, spilled something on the card and ruined it. :-( So, no corrected picture, sorry about that!

I hesitated over posting this second card, because it didn't turn out as well as I would have liked it to. However, I really liked the concept: I embossed the image with sticky embossing powder, then brushed different colors of mica powder over the scene. As you see, the blue did on the bottom looks a bit odd. It's very important not to heat sticky emboss powder too long, or it will not look smooth and shiny, but very dull. As I said above, I also did not check that I had thoroughly coated the stamped image. Still, I hope you are inspired!
